Ministry of Corporate Affairs to mandate unlisted public companies for compulsory dematerialization.

·         Corporate ISIN creation with a Depository (NSDL / CDSL)
·         Facilitate dematerialization of shares

In listed companies all physical transfers will be restricted by December, 2018.

Dematerialization would eliminate all Transfer / Transmission related delays and also remove the back dating work in the books. Also this would lead in extra cost for the Corporates but will be very helpful for the investors.
